This still life portrait of the Buerre Pears was carved out of a large piece of soft rubber. This unique technique utilized India Ink instead of your conventional printing ink so that is has a much more matte appearance to the surface.

The creation of this masterpiece was very time consuming but its meticulous and distinct design is what captures the imagination, warmth, and beauty of this artistic treasure.
